Studying in the Netherlands

The Netherlands is an increasingly attractive place to study. The Netherlands is fairly affordable compared to the UK, most courses offered are taught in English and the education system in Netherlands is interactive, student-centered and focused on teamwork. 

• Application process: Students normally apply directly to the university. 

• Requirements: 3 A-levels

• Deadlines: 1 January - 1 May 

• Tuition fees: the average tuition fee for bachelor’s programmes is between € 6,000 and € 15,000 for the whole duration of your study.

• Monthly living expenses:  €800 - €1,100 a month

• You can work part-time while studying.

• After graduation, you can also stay in the Netherlands for one year without a work permit.

• You have three years after graduation to apply for a work permit.
