In brief: The scholarship and loan scheme is open to Bruneian students with strong academic results.
Minimum grades required: AAA (scholarship for medicine); BBB (scholarship for other courses); CCC (loan scheme)
Deadline: By the end of February, following the HECAS deadline.
Requirements: Top 250 universities in the QS World University Rankings or THE University Rankings.

This scholarship is not offered every year.
Minimum grades required: AAA
Deadline: Apply through MINDEF by July.
MINDEF may contact top students after A-Level Results are released.
Scholarships are only available for selected courses and are subjected to change each year. The most recent PDF provided by MINDEF is available here.
In brief: This prestigious scholarship is only available by invitation only. Students with good O-Level and A-Level Results are identified and contacted through the school's careers section.
Minimum grades required: AAA
Deadline: You can only apply if invited to do so. Apply through Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, usually in January or February after results are out.
Requirements: Offer letter from one of the following institutions: University of Harvard (US), Yale University (US), University of Oxford (UK) and/or University of Cambridge (UK), Imperial College London (UK). No other universities are accepted.
