Application process: Students normally apply directly to the university.
Tuition fees: the tuition fees are affordable only if you manage to get a scholarship or a tuition grant. It could cut down costs from approximately SGD40,000 to SGD50,000 per year to SGD15,000 to SGD30,000 a year depending on your degree.
Living expenses: around SGD10,000 per year.
Entry requirements: University places are very competitive, especially at the best Singaporean universities. Universities prefer 4 A-level subjects. One PTEM student successfully entered Nanyang Technological University with his excellent grades of 3A* 1A and 1b.

Depending on your offer, your visa and your ability to get a tuition grant, you may or may not be able to work in Singapore after graduation. However, you can try applying for a "Long Term Visit Pass" which will allow you to look for a job up to one year after graduation. More details here.

If you study at a Singapore government established university or institution, you will be eligible for a tuition grant. You will be able to get a significant reduction on your tuition fees.
However, accepting a tuition grant means that you will be bonded to work in Singapore for three years.
