Almost all courses at Oxford and Cambridge University requires you to take additional tests in addition to an interview. Likewise, some traditionally more demanding courses such as Law requires you to sit for additional exams like the LNAT.
Pre-interview assessments are taken before you go for an interview. However, sometimes, you will have to sit for a written assessment during the time of your interview.

However, do note that LNAT is not required by all universities, so do check.

Most courses at Oxford and Cambridge require you to go for an interview, and some other universities in the UK and elsewhere may have this requirement as well. They also sometimes require you to sit for a written assessment at the time of the interview. As the pandemic does not allow you to take the test in person, alternative arrangements may be made.
Students have been asked to complete the written assessment while being monitored via webcam. Students will therefore need a quiet place with a good internet connection and a webcam to complete the written assessment.
If you have connectivity or hardware issues, drop by careers and we will try to help you make arrangements.
Occasionally, universities do not recognise the English O-Level qualification from the Brunei-Cambridge O-level exam. Instead, they use IELTS to test your English language skills. You need to sit for the Academic IELTS test.
