REGISTRATION DAY FOR LOWER 6 STUDENTS 2023

Welcome to Meragang Sixth Form Centre's Registration Day for lower six students. Listed below are all the important information you need to help smooth your entry into Meragang Sixth Form Centre (PTEM).
STEP 1: You have been given an application form from your previous secondary school. Please fill in your personal and education information completely.
Please take note that you need your previous school's stamp. If you do not have the form and the stamp, please return to your previous school to obtain this first.
STEP 2: Please bring your application form along with your original O-level result certificate to the Admissions Officer counter (AO) to verify you are eligible to enter and study in PTEM.
Please take note that being eligible to enter PTEM does not mean you are eligible to take all subject.
STEP 3A: After verification by AO, you can ask the Heads of Department (HOD) of each subject if you would like to know more about the subject or to confirm your subjects if you are already sure.
The HOD's will have a say in whether you are eligible to take the subject depending on your O-Level results..
STEP 3B: You can also decide to see one of the careers advisors on duty to ensure that your subject combination is correct or suitable for your intended higher education route or career pathway if you are unsure.
Once you have met and agreed on your subject combination with your career advisor, they will attach a verification sheet containing your unique code.
Please take note that choosing the best subject combination does not mean anything if you are unable to score sufficient tariff points needed for higher education from your final exams.
STEP 4: After you have received approval from the HOD's of each of your chosen subject, please proceed to queueing at the Chief Admissions Officer (CAO) for final approval and handing over of your completed form to the school.
Please take note that the CAO will have the final say for your entry into PTEM.
STEP 5: If you need any welfare or counselling assistance, please approach the the welfare or counselling desk.
STEP 6: Next, you may obtain or purchase your school materials in the finance section.
Now you shall wait for the school start date to be announced
