ALWAYS use the school buzzword to apply so that the school can provide you a reference. You must contact us and sign up for our Google Classroom to get access to the buzzword.
Record your personal ID number. Do not lose this number as your email can only be used once in setting up UCAS account for each applying cycle.
Filling in your personal details
Name: Always put your name as it appears on your passport. Your graduation certificate will use this name.
Email: Use a professional email. It is better to have an email with your name in it.
Date of first entry to the UK: Use an estimated date. Students normally enter university in late August.
Passport details: Always check to see when your passport expires. You are not allowed to fly for the six months before the passport expiry date. Generally, it is better to renew your passport or to ensure that your passport does not expire for at least one year from your date of entry into the UK.
Student support and financial arrangements: 01 if your parents are paying for your studies; 09 if your are applying for a Brunei Government scholarship or loan
Choices
Apply to NO MORE than 3 universities if you are applying for the January 15 deadline. You can add 2 more universities later once results are out.
Completing the Education Section
Ensure that you list the O-level subjects under your secondary school, and A-level subjects under your sixth form center.
O-level subjects: list all the results of your sittings in November (and June if you sat for it)
A-level subjects: list your A-level subjects. Do not list all your sittings EXCEPT if it is an AS-level subject. If you are applying before results are out, you should leave the results blank. The careers section will fill in your predicted grades on your behalf.
Employment
List out any paid work experience that you have.
