Studying in the UK

The UK is a popular destination among Bruneian students as it has a very competitive education environment. Some of the top universities in the world are located in the UK and many Bruneian scholars have graduated from prestigious UK universities. 

Students should take note of the earlier application deadlines for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science courses, as well as the early deadlines for Oxford University and Cambridge University, collectively known as Oxbridge. 

As of now, Medicine and Dentistry are on the Ministry of Education Scholarship Scheme. 

Similarly, getting accepted into top UK universities (Oxbridge, with an application deadline of 15 October, or Imperial College London and UCL with an application deadline of 15 January) makes you eligible for the Sultan Scholar / Yayasan Scholarship and MINDEF Scholarship in addition to the MOE Scholarship. While BSP does not have such strict requirements, students with an offer from top UK universities have an advantage.
